Both drivers in a fatal accident on Sunday morning remained in a Reno hospital Monday.

Trooper Chuck Allen said both Jerry Horine, 47, and Mary Blueberg, 67, were listed in stable condition at Renown Regional Medical Center.

Horine was northbound near the roundabout at Fifth Street and Fairview Drive about 9 a.m. when he lost control of his 2001 BMW X5 and crossed into the southbound path of Blueberg, driving a 2001 Cadillac.

Blueberg's passenger, and mother, Wretha Wright, 84, was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Allen, alcohol may be a factor in Sunday's wreck. It's believed Blueberg and Wright were on their way to church, and Horine was on his way to golf when the accident occurred.
