A celebration of life for Wretha Wright, 84, a 40-year resident of Carson City, will be 11:30 a.m. Sept. 2 at Father's Heart Church in Carson City.
Mrs. Wright died Aug. 19, 2007, in Carson City. She was born April 10, 1923, to William Robert Hicks and Priscilla Richey in Oklahoma. She married Leslie O. Wright on June 13, 1938.
She was a homemaker. She was an active member of Father's Heart Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie, brother Arthur Hicks and granddaughter Starlynn De Maranville.
Among her survivors are daughter Jean Skonard of Wash.; daughters and sons-in-law Mary and Jim Blueberg of Carson City and Joyce and Clyde Graham of Sand Point, Idaho; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Walton's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
