A celebration of life for Starlynn DeMaranville, 47, a Reno resident, will be 4-6 p.m. Saturday at the Well of Worship Church in Mound House.

Ms. DeMaranville died April 6, 2007, at the Berryman Rehabilitation Hospital. She was born Nov. 28, 1959, in Pamona, Calif., to Clyde and Joyce Graham.

Before moving to Reno, Ms. DeMaranville lived in Carson City, where she owned a business.

She was retired.

She enjoyed walking in the sand at the ocean, dancing and writing poetry.

She was preceded in death by two grandfathers and a grandmother.

Among her survivors are her parents; daughter, Chandra DeMaranville; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Stephanie Graham; sister and brother-in-law Tammie and Robert Pierce; sister Tina Magro; grandmother Wretha Wright; three grandchildren; and numerous extended-family members.

Washoe Memorial in Reno is in charge of arrangements.
