The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• David Alan Tieffer, 52, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 6:46 a.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of Jerry Lane on suspicion of gross misdemeanor violation of a temporary protective order. Bail was set up at $3,132.
• Charles Vidal Rodriguez, 30, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 2:14 a.m. Thursday on Lompa Lane on a warrant for suspicion of failure to appear. No bail was set.
• A 25-year-old unemployed man from Mound House was arrested at 2:57 a.m. in the 300 block of East William Street on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,132.
• Pamela Rose Young-Key, 37, a housewife, was arrested at 11 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of felony obtaining money under false pretenses and two counts of possession of a credit card without the owner's consent. Bail was set at $25,000.
• A 62-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 4:16 p.m. Wednesday in the 3500 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor assault and provoking a fight. Bail was set at $1,264.
• Patrick Mayer, 59, was arrested at 10:24 a.m. Thursday in the 2700 block of Kit Sierra Way on suspicion of gross misdemeanor violation of protection order. Bail was set at $2,500.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
• Property injury report in the 2300 block of South Carson Street at 8:53 a.m.
• Residential burglary report on Lompa Lane at 9:10 a.m.
• Report of a man trying to pass fraudulent money orders at Wal-Mart at 10:16 a.m.
• Vehicle burglary report in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East at 11:24 a.m.
• A tow-truck driver reported being assaulted by a man in the 3400 block of Highway 50 East at 4:01 p.m.
• Accident at College Parkway and Highway 50 East at 4:07 p.m.
• Report of a bon fire in the 300 block of South Deer Run Road at 9:04 p.m. Several juveniles were cited.
• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 9:18 p.m.
• Report of a man brought into the hospital with a stab wound on his elbow at 10:10 p.m.

• Commercial burglary report on Fir Avenue in Silver Springs at 7:23 a.m.
• Report of a trucker stealing fuel from the Truck Inn Way in Fernley at 11:17 a.m.
• Stolen tool report on Rainbow Drive in Mark Twain at 11:49 a.m.
• Threat report on Amber Street in Silver Springs at 2:28 p.m.
• Report of a portable toilet in the middle of the road on Shadow Lane in Fernley at 12:58 a.m.
• Report of a front-end loader on fire at Out-of-Town Park in Fernley at 2:56 p.m. The fire was extinguished.
• Report of former tenants stealing the hot water heater out of a Mound House rental at 5:51 p.m.
• Report of minors drinking and smoking marijuana on Cedar Street in Fernley at 7:59 p.m.
