Jacqueline 'Jackie' L. Mangum

Jacqueline "Jackie" L. Mangum, 72, a six year resident of Carson City, died Aug. 20, 2007, at her home.

She was born June 19, 1935, to John and Elizabeth Cordle in Los Angeles. She managed and coached girl's softball for 10 years in Lompoc, Calif. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren, animals, gardening, video games and casino games.

Among her survivors are her husband of 52 years, Danny of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law David and Mary Mangum of North Carolina; daughters Leslie A. of Carson City and Angela Pampena of Denver; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Frank of Tecumseh, Mich., Sandra and Michael of Louisville, Ky.; sisters and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Ron of Fullerton, Calif., and Ruth and Tom of Fairfield, Wash.; sisters-in-law, Keiko Cordle of Elzajon, Calif., and Betty Cordle of Woodinville, Wash.; seven grandsons and one granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family memorial will be held at a later time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA of Northern Nevada.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
