The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Chad Johnston, 21, unemployed from Bakersfield, Calif., was arrested at 1:15 a.m. Thursday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.
• Mazzerick Nelson, 23, a painter from Carson City, was arrested at 9:05 p.m. Thursday in the 3500 block of Woodside Drive on suspicion of felony burglary/shoplifting. He allegedly walked out of Wal-Mart carrying subwoofers a woman with him pointed out, according to the arrest report. Bail was set at $2,500.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
• Accident at North Ormsby Boulevard and Oak Ridge Drive at 7:42 a.m.
• Accident at Spooner Drive and Eastridge Lane at 7:57 a.m.
• Report of a man in custody at the Carson Nugget for trying to sell drugs to the bartender at 9:20 a.m.
• Report of gas being stolen from the 1800 block of Highway 50 East.
• Report of a customer leaving harassing phone calls in the 3300 block of Highway 50 East.
• Coroner call in the 2300 block of Empire Ranch Road at 1:55 p.m.
• Report of a juvenile with a knife threatening to stab other juveniles at Sherman Lane and Century Circle at 2:55 p.m.
• A 9-year-old girl came home on Winnie Lane and told her grandmother that a man in a car pulled over and "showed her his wrong place," at 3:14 p.m. as she walked home from school. Deputies stopped a vehicle and arrested a man for possession of marijuana.
• Report of a 1997 white Mercury sedan with Nevada plates 461TYL stolen from Allouette Way and East Fifth Street sometime in the last week.
• A man reported that four people were demonstrating a vacuum in his Wilma Way home when $400 went missing at 10 p.m.
• A man with blood on his face and claiming he'd been beaten up attempted to get into a caller's car in the 200 block of Koontz Lane at 11:33 p.m.
• A man reported he'd found his stolen vehicle in a casino parking lot, and stole it back at 11:55 p.m.

• Arrest on Dayton Valley Road at 12:47 a.m.
• Report of tools stolen from a work site on Interstate 80 at 6:38 a.m.
• Report a home was burglarized on Gem Court at 9:16 a.m. in Fernley.
• Report a home was burglarized on Rouge River Road in Fernley at 8:35 p.m.
• Report a home was burglarized on Picetti Way in Fernley at 10:56 p.m.
