National Active and Retired Federal Employees Chapter 1329 will meet for lunch 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Grandma Hattie's on South Carson Street. 'PeanutCracker' ballet comes to Community Center


"The PeanutCracker - The Story In A Nutshell" ballet will be performed by the Sierra Nevada Ballet and students from Western Nevada Performing Arts Center and In Motion Studio at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday at the Carson City Community Center. This is a condensed one hour and narrated version of the beloved "Nutcracker," designed to appeal to audience members from 2-92 years old. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children. Carson Dems holding open house


Carson City Democratic Central Committee have recently relocated their office to 111 Telegraph St., Suite 104. Family Christmas service scheduled


Unity Church of Today will hold one service on Christmas Eve at 7 p.m. in its sanctuary, 1701 Lucerne St., Minden. The service is designed for families of all ages and features candle lighting and a Unity Chorus performance. No services will be held on Christmas Day.
