Health inspections

Carson City Health Department's food-service inspections and the date of inspection (all scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations):

• CR Gas Co., 4340 N. Carson, convenience store, scored 99 points. Cloths used on food-contact surfaces are not clean, do not contain sanitizer residual or are not used properly.

• Toads, 306 E. William St., bar/lounge, scored 99 points. Cleaning and maintenance tools are not properly stored or are not properly maintained. The mop bucket was found filled with dirt water.

• Fruteria La Pina, 1891 Long St., retail grocery, scored 96 points. Items are stored on the floor. Produce and beans not correctly stored 6 inches above the floor. Food contact surfaces of equipment or utensils are not clean. Three compartment sink is blocked with storage of produce, making it inaccessible for use. Food scoops and tongs must be cleaned at least daily and more often if necessary in a process that follows a wash, rinse, sanitize method.
