Memorial services for Jack G. Dyer, a resident of Carson City will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City. Dyer died February 2, 2006, in Carson City. He was 76.
Dyer was born on Dec. 27, 1930, to Joseph L. and Dulcie Dyer in Des Moines, Iowa. He enjoyed politics and was active in the Democratic Central Committee.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rowene in 2004.
Dyer is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Brian and Lisa Dyer of Dayton; daughter Karen Fritz of Carson City, brother Robert H. Dyer of Des Moines, Iowa, and three grandchildren.
