What we do: We build and restore race cars, hot rods and classic cars. We also sell performance parts. We opened Jan. 1.

Why I opened the business: It's been a hobby since I was 16. I've been on racing teams, and we've built cars for other people. My father and I decided to do it as a business.

Experience: I built and maintained and race cars for Landmark Homes, racing for six years. My dad has more than 40 years' experience racing and building cars.

Inspiration: It's a profession I really love.

Family: I work with my father, Tom. I have two sisters in the area. My nieces and nephews love to race.

Cars I own: I have (an International Motor Contest Association) modified race car. It took me a year to build in restore it. It was originally built in 1997. It's on display at the AC Delco Superstore on Highway 50 East.
