Kugler named to Wrangler all-star team

Alyce Kugler of the Carson-Douglas Rodeo Club has been named to the National High School Rodeo Association's Wrangler All-Star team for this season.

Kugler, a senior at Douglas High, was named to the team based on her leadership qualities and academic and athletic achievements. Kugler earned her spot on the all-star team as the top returning performer in girls cutting in Nevada.

She's the defending state champion in girls cutting and competed in the National High School Rodeo Finals last summer. As a member of the all-star team, Kugler receives official competition apparel consisting of Wrangler Twenty X shirts with the team logo and two pairs of competition jeans.
