Mildred 'Millie' Marie Boldt

A celebration of life for Mildred "Millie" Marie Boldt, 77, a 30-year Carson City resident, will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday at her home, 12 Kit Sierra Loop.

Mrs. Boldt died Feb. 6, 2007, in Carson City. She was born May 30, 1929, in Hillsdale County, Mich., to Arthur L. Carr and Lillian R. Farnsworth.

She married Robert Worthy Forrester in 1947 and Grant B. Boldt in 1952.

Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Boldt lived in Michigan.

She graduated from Pittsford High School in Pittsford, Mich.

She was preceded in death by both husbands, by brothers Richard and Herbert Carr, by sister Judy Terrill, and by grandson Chad Madewell.

Among her survivors are daughters Helen Forrester of Indianapolis, Christine Stephenson of Carson City, and Kimberly Boldt of Kauai, Hawaii; son James Boldt of Kauai; brothers Warren Carr of Pittsford, Mich., Dan Carr of Reading, Mich., and Jack Carr of Adrian, Mich.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Those wishing to help the family with expenses may make a donation to Capitol City Cremation, which is in charge of arrangements.
