Kenneth Roberts, 68, a Gardnerville resident since July, died Feb. 5, 2007, in Gardnerville.
Mr. Roberts was born June 20, 1938, in Buffalo, N.Y., to Howard and Mary Rose Roberts.
He married Kay Wagar on Sept. 14, 1987, in Elko.
Before moving to Gardnerville, Mr. Roberts lived in Condon, Mont.
He attended high school in Placerville, Calif. He was in the logging industry and served in the National Guard from 1956-57.
He enjoyed the outdoors and the Montana area.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard John Robert and daughter Diane Marie.
Among his survivors are his wife, Kay Roberts of Gardnerville; daughters Debbie Halberg of Wyoming, Janice Steinbacher of Columbia, Md., and Donna Manha of Fallon; son, Steven Roberts of Texas; sister, Kathy Roberts of Sacramento, Calif.; brothers Charles Roberts of Arbuckle, Calif., Paul Roberts of Battle Mountain and David Roberts of Camino, Calif.; brothers and sisters-in-law Robert and Alice Roberts of California, Tom and Debbie Roberts of Ryegate, Mont., and Ralph and Pat Roberts of Camino, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
