Kenneth Martin Foley

Richard Martin Foley, age 45, passed away at home in Wellington, September 13, 2008.

He was born July 19, 1963 in Fremont, Calif. to Claude Wayne Foley and Margaret Irma Foley.

Richard married his wife of 17 years Peggy Sue Foley Nov. 3, 1990 in South Lake Tahoe, Calif. He was a high school graduate and a realtor by trade belonging to the National Association of Realtors. Richard enjoyed camping and gardening as his favorite hobbies. He lived in Gardnerville for 12 years before moving to Wellington.

Richard is survived by his wife and his parents, stepson and daughter-in-law Zachary and Alexandrea Cassner of Gardnerville; his daughters, Megan Foley of Wellington, Madison Foley of Wellington, and Ashley Foley of Bakersfield, Calif., brothers and sisters-in-law, Alan Foley of Moorpark, Calif., Mike and Colleen Foley of El Dorado Hills, Calif., Marc and Debbie Foley of Newberry Park, Calif.; sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly and John Jelle of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; two grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, at St. Gall's Church in Gardnerville with a reception following. FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is caring for the arrangements.
