A number of multiple winners for the Carson Tigersharks Swim Club from the Red Hot Valentine Meet held this past weekend at the Carson Valley Aquatic Center were listed in Wednesday's Appeal.
Four other swimmers won at least one event and had numerous top finishes as well. They were:
13-14 boys - Albert Reed, who won the 500-yard freestyle in 5 minutes, 46.63 seconds. Reed also took second in the 200 free in 2:10.34 and second in the 50 backstroke in 32.49.
15 and older boys - Garrett Clayton won the 200 individual medley in 2:09.54 and took second in the 200 free in 1:59.13. Jacob Cornwell won the 200 free in 1:58.92 and took second in the 100 I.M. in 1:02.59, second in the 50 free in 24.57 and second in the 100 back in 1:02.16. In addition, Kevin Dyer won the 100 back in 1:00.44 and took second in the 100 butterfly in 59.34.
