NDOT to offer free construction-truck training

A new Nevada Department of Transportation construction truck driver training program is accepting student applications.

This free program is aimed at integrating minorities and women into the construction industry. It lasts seven weeks and focuses on construction- truck driving and safety skills, from water- and dump truck driving to snowplows and safety checks. Graduates receive a commercial drivers' license.
