Tomas 'Thomas' Felan

Tomas "Thomas" Felan, 65, a five-year Coleville, Calif., resident, died Feb. 11, 2007, in Gardnerville.

Mr. Felan was born Dec. 21, 1941, in San Antonio, Texas, to Isidro P. Felan and Susana Longoria.

Before moving to Coleville, Mr. Felan lived in San Antonio.

He graduated from Brackenridge High School, and took an auto mechanics course. He was a carpenter in construction. He served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on cars.

He was preceded in death by his father Dec. 12, 1984, and his mother June 7, 1985.

Among his survivors are sisters Olga F. Clark and Virginia F. Sanchez, both of Little Rock, and Margarita F. Jacobo of San Antonio; brothers Isidro L. Felan of San Diego, Richard L. Felan of San Antonio and Alfredo L. Felan of Houston; and numerous extended-family members.

Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory in Carson City. Inurnment will take place at the Northern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.

Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
