City and state road crews got a thank you from the Assembly on Tuesday, initiated by Las Vegas Assemblyman Morse Arberry.

Seeing the snowfall and, like many from Clark County, unaccustomed to winter driving, Arberry said he was worried about driving conditions Tuesday morning.

"I knew I was going to lose control of my ride this morning," he said.

But Arberry said he had no problems because the roads were plowed, sanded and cleared by morning.

"To all those state and city road workers I say thank you, thank you, thank you," he said to applause from the rest of the Assembly.

Forecast for today and Thursday
