A funeral for Bernadette Larraburu, 67, a 10-year Carson City resident, will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Pius Church, 1100 Woodside Road, in Redwood City, Calif. Visitation will be 5 p.m. Thursday, with a rosary at 7 p.m. Both will be held at the Redwood Chapel, 847 Woodside Road, Redwood City.

Mrs. Larraburu died Dec. 28, 2006. She was born March 17, 1939, in St. Etienne de Baigory, France.

She emigrated to the United States in 1959. Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Larraburu lived in San Carlos, Calif., and Redwood City for 35 years.

She worked for Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Larraburu; two sisters; and a brother in France.

Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Rosemary Larraburu; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Rodney Black; sister and brother-in-law Therese and Jean Hirigoyen of Stockton, Calif.; brother and sister-in-law Joseph and Mary Elissondoberria of Carson City; two sisters in France; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, Calif.

Redwood Chapel, in Redwood City is in charge of arrangements.
