BAC's membership drive boasts chance to win membership for 2

The Brewery Arts Center has kicked off its membership drive, which runs now through Feb. 19.

New members and those renewing or upgrading existing memberships will receive a chance to win a season pass for two. The pass admits two to all BAC-sponsored events for a year.

All money collected through membership helps the arts center grow its performance schedule, which includes music, theater and dance. Many of these performances have received national and international acclaim. The BAC also features visual arts programs for both children and adults.

"Residents of Carson City and areas throughout Northern Nevada have noticed the increased quality in our programming," said John Procaccini, the center's executive director. "Our ability to attract these high-caliber performances is largely due to the continued support and involvement of our members.

"This year, all of the BAC's staff and board of directors are actively involved in enrolling and upgrading memberships, so we can continue to enhance our programs and truly make Carson City a destination for arts and cultural experiences."

Membership levels begin at $40 for individuals ($30 for seniors and students) and go up to $5,000 for the gold level. Membership benefits include discounts on BAC-produced events and purchases; and exclusive access to members-only events.

In addition, members receive a quarterly newsletter with insider-only information, such as early notification of events.
