(Staff Report) - Two people died late Friday night in an accident at Highway 88 and Kimmerling Road in the Gardnerville Ranchos.
The accident involving a semi truck and a passenger vehicle occurred at 10:32 p.m., according to the Nevada Highway Patrol's Web site.
Two people in the passenger vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.
Highway 88 was closed following the accident and remained closed at press time. The road was expected to be opened by 12:45 a.m. today.
