A rosary will be said for Gertrude Christine Flicker, 90, a 21-year Carson City resident, at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will follow.

Mrs. Flicker died Jan. 25, 2007, in Carson City. She was born Nov. 6, 1916, in Pierz, Minn., to Mike Schraut and Mary Keller.

Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Flicker lived in Glendale, Calif., from 1941-86.

She belonged to the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church's Women's Guild and was a former member of the Women's International Leadership Institute. She enjoyed Bible study.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Flicker, a brother and nine sisters.

Among her survivors are daughter Judy Barnett of Carson City; son Tom Flicker of Lake Hughes, Calif.; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
