Bruce Eric Kain

A memorial service for Bruce Eric Kain, 51, a 16-year Carson City resident, will be 4 p.m. today at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.

Mr. Kain died Jan. 27, 2007, at Renown Medical Center in Reno. He was born Dec. 10, 1955, in Long Beach, Calif., to Daniel W. and Sylvia L. Lewis Kain.

He married Carla M. (Goodwin) Kain on Nov. 10, 1984, in Las Vegas.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Orange County, Calif.

He was a truck driver and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Mr. Kain enjoyed golfing, camping, fishing, gaming, Texas Hold 'Em, and football teams the Rams and Angels.

Among his survivors are his wife of 22 years of Carson City; daughter and sons-in-law Tiffany and Rick Huntsman of Yorba Linda, Calif.; daughters Michele, Marci and Jessica Kain, all of Carson City; parents, of Carson City; sister Dena Sims of Portland, Ore.; sister and brother-in-law Linda and Chuck Hudson of Milsap, Texas; brother Marty Kain of Minden; and two grandchildren.

Donations may be made to the Bruce Kain Memorial Fund, First United Methodist Church, 400 W. King St. #100, Carson City, NV 89703.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
