An 8-month-old girl allegedly kidnapped by her parents Sunday afternoon was recovered after a standoff with police in Panther Valley, north of Reno.

According to the Washoe County Sheriff's Office, the infant's parents allegedly forced entry into the Sun Valley home of the custodial grandmother just before 5:20 p.m. Sunday, and the baby was taken by force.

An Amber Alert was issued at about 10:45 p.m. Sunday for 8-month-old Adriana L. Brooks.
