A memorial service for Noni Opal Carver, 100, a Carson City resident, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Autumn Funerals and Cremations, 1575 N. Lompa Lane.

Mrs. Carver died Jan. 29, 2007. She was born Oct. 13, 1906, in Tulsa, Okla., to Isaac M. and Corrine Babb Owens.

She graduated from high school in Southern California.

Before moving to Carson City in 2006, she lived in Long Beach, Calif.

She married Percy Carver on Dec. 24, 1926, in Long Beach.

She was a homemaker, and enjoyed oil painting, dancing, knitting and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son, John D. Carver, and a sister.

Among her survivors are her daughter, Jackie Santos of Carson City; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Autumn Funerals and Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
