The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Edgar Daniel Sarabia, 23, a landscaper from Carson City, was arrested at 12:05 a.m. Monday in the 3000 block of North Roop Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving, misdemeanor driving without a license and speeding. Bail was set at $2,759.


• A 38-year-old unemployed Carson City woman was arrested at 1:42 a.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of Kansas Street. Bail was set at $3,652.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:


• Domestic battery report on South Carson Street at 2:12 a.m.


• Dispute report on East Fifth Street at 3:02 a.m.


• Report of a vehicle striking a deer on Lakeview Hill at 7:49 a.m.


• Report of a vehicle striking a fence at Fairview Drive and Butti Way at 8:28 a.m.


• Report of a large rock being thrown at a house on Fieldcrest Drive at 8:56 a.m.


• Residential burglary report in which a screen and dog door on an Appion Way home was removed but the burglar didn't appear to take anything, at 9:21 a.m.


• Report of a window being shot out with a BB gun on Woodside Drive at 1:18 p.m.


• Vehicle burglary report on College Parkway at 2:59 p.m.




Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:


• Threat report on Bogie Court in Fernley at 12:20 a.m.


• Arrest of a 25-year-old man on Dayton Valley Road at 1:48 a.m.


• A report of two juveniles running off with a case of beer from an East Main Street gas station in Fernley at 4:04 a.m.


• A woman reported her friend's husband beat her in the 400 block of Spruce Drive in Silver Springs at 5:28 p.m.


• Accident in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 in Fernley at 12:08 p.m.


• Accident on Old Sutro Mine Road in Dayton at 1:22 p.m.


• Accident on Highway 50 East in Mound House at 2:34 p.m.


• Report of a man stabbing himself in the stomach during a domestic dispute in Fernley at 6:31 p.m.




Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:


• A report of rocks in the road, which were causing people to swerve on Five Mile Flat at 5:47 a.m.


• A caller on South L Street reported at 9:07 a.m. he found a dead bird in his yard and he wished to report it in case of West Nile virus.


• Traffic citation was issued on State Route 341 at 1:47 p.m.


• Traffic citation was issued on State Route 341 at 5:58 p.m.


The following people were booked into the Storey County Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• William Hamilton, 30, of Reno, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of gross misdemeanor use of a controlled substance.


• A 41-year-old Yerington woman was arrested Thursday on State Route 341 on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs.


• Jacob Mercer, 28, of Reno, was arrested Friday on suspicion of gross misdemeanor use of a controlled substance.


• A 20-year-old Reno man was arrested Saturday on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of marijuana.


• A 44-year-old Sparks man was arrested Sunday in Lockwood on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving.


• A 22-year-old Carson City man was taken into civil protective custody on Sunday.


• Jason Redwine, 26, of Virginia City, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of use of a controlled substance.


• Six other warrant arrests were made.
