It should be an entertaining baseball series this weekend when the Nevada Bighorns host the San Francisco Seagulls.
The two teams will play a four-game series with doubleheaders today and Sunday at Ron McNutt Field. Saturday's action begins at 4 p.m. and Sunday's action begins at 10 a.m.
The Seagulls (13-5) features a roster loaded with players from top four-year and junior college programs, including San Jose State pitcher Tyler Greene, who has a 0.93 earned run average right now with the Seagulls.
Based on a comparative result, it should be an even series. The Seagulls beat the San Jose Brewers 9-1 while the Bighorns swept three games from the Brewers, winning 20-7, 6-5 and 6-0.
General admission is $3 and $1 for senior citizens.
