Engagement: Hughes, Erwin

Alexis Nicole Hughes and Jeffrey Wayne Erwin have announced their engagement.

Alexis is the daughter of Tom Hughes of Reno and Kathy Johnson of Rocky Point, N.C. She is a 2002 graduate of McQueen High School in Reno and a 2007 graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, where she received a degree in psychology. Alexis is employed with UNR.

Jeffrey is the son of Jeff and Ann Erwin. He is a 2002 graduate of Carson High School and a 2006 graduate of UNR, where he received a degree in environmental policy analysis. Jeffrey is employed with Lahontan Geoscience and UNR.

Alexis and Jeffrey plan to marry Sept. 1 at Idlewild Park in Reno.
