A graveside service for Lillian M. Sonny, 81, will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Hughson, Calif.
Mrs. Sonny died July 10, 2007, after a 12-year struggle with Alzheimer's. She had been cared for at Country Villas Nursing Home in Merced, Calif., for the past six years.
Prior to living in Merced, Mrs. Sonny and her husband, Michael, were residents of the Carson City-Lake Tahoe area for 30 years.
She was born July 15, 1925, in Clinton, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Michael; two sons David and Daniel Sonny; and two grandchildren.
Among her survivors are daughters Beverly Coon of Porterville, Calif., Andrea Pacheco and Cynthia Concepcion, both of Merced; son Michael Sonny of Carson City; and 16 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren.
Lakewood Memorial Park is in charge of the arrangements.
