Robert Lee Maushardt, 80, a 21-year resident of Carson City died July 10, 2007, at his home.
Mr. Maushardt was born Sept. 22, 1926, in Herron, Ill., to Lawrence O. and Mabel Hardcastle Maushardt.
He married Veronica Fitzpatrick on Dec. 2, 1953.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Yorba Linda, Calif.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
His wife preceded him in death in 2001.
Among his survivors are his daughter Stephanie Della-Chiara of Bothell, Wash.; granddaughters Michelle Hutchinson of Yorba Linda, Kristie and Jaime Della-Chiara of Bothell; and one great-granddaughter, Brittany Hutchinson.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of cremation and arrangements.
