A celebration of life for Lucille Draney Caine, 85, a Carson City resident for 63 years, will be held at the North Tahoe Public Utility District, 875 National Ave., Tahoe Vista, Calif., at 2 p.m. Aug. 19.
Mrs. Caine died March 8, 2007, in Reno. She was born March 2, 1922, in Mariposa, Calif.
She and her husband, V.W. "Zero" Draney moved to North Lake Tahoe in 1945.
They were pioneers in developing that area.
Among her survivors are two daughters, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Walton's Funeral Home in Reno is in charge of arrangements.
