The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Carlos Alvarez, 32, of Carson City, was arrested at 10:53 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of Broadleaf Drive on suspicion of felony providing false information to avoid arrest and misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $5,500. Also arrested was Nancie Ellen Mayfield, 36, of Carson City, on suspicion of felony drug trafficking. Bail was set at $20,000.


• Sharon Garza, 51, a warehouse worker from Carson City, was arrested at 10:22 p.m. Friday at Roop and Park streets on suspicion of felony embezzlement. Bail was set at $5,000.


• A 28-year-old unemployed Carson City resident was arrested at 10:25 p.m. Friday in the 1700 block of Myles Way on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a temporary restraining order. Bail was set at $1,132.


• A 61-year-old transient was arrested at 6:29 p.m. Friday in the 2100 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a probation and contempt of court. Bail was set at $4,000.


• A 47-year-old unemployed Carson City resident was arrested at 7:14 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of David Street on suspicion of misdemeanor disturbing the peace. Bail was set at $187.


• A 26-year-old salesman from Littleton, Colo., was arrested at 1:56 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of Mountain Street on suspicion of engaging in deceptive practices. Bail was set at $632. Also arrested on the same charge were a 25-year-old salesman from Las Vegas and a 22-year-old salesman from Louisville, Ky.


• A 47-year-old disabled Carson City resident was arrested at 2:20 p.m. Friday in the 2500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of bail conditions and no valid driver's license. Bail was set at $3,632.


• Michelle Leann Bracht, 19, of Carson City, was arrested at 9:27 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Lee Street on suspicion of felony accessory to embezzlement. Bail was set at $15,000.
