A memorial service for Steven Alan "Bucky" Jackson, 21, a Reno resident for the past 13 years, will be 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Gardnerville.
Mr. Jackson died May 31, 2007, in Reno. He was born July 9, 1985, in Salinas, Calif., to Steve and Sherrie Jackson.
He grew up in Gardnerville, graduated from Douglas High School and was in his third year at University of Nevada, Reno. He planned to attend law school.
Among his survivors are his parents; sister Courtney Jackson; grandparents Charles and Andy Jackson and Shelby Pierce; uncles Jeff and Chuck Jackson, Rusty and Jason Stearman and Chuck Patterson; aunts Jennie Filippi, Janet Melesurgo; second family Cathy, John, Billy, Joe and Christina Bradshaw and numerous extended-family members.
Memorial contributions may be made to a memorial fund at US Bank, No. 153752268703.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
