Flag Day

Weaving of Gourds with Natural Materials 10 a.m. -1 p.m., Nevada State Museum, 600 N. Carson St. In conjunction with the exhibit, "Interwoven 2007," the Great Basin Basketmakers will offer a series of demonstrations at the Nevada State Museum this summer. Basketmaker members Cheryln Bennett and Molly Gardner share their expertise in a presentation entitled "Weaving on Gourds." Call 687-4810.


Flag ceremony by local Boy Scouts will raise the flag for the first time in front of Dayton State Park at 6 p.m. Setting the flag pole and raising the flag is part of an Eagle Scout project.
