The Lyon County Sheriff's Department Dispatch center phones will be shut down for about one hour at 3 p.m. today for mandatory upgrades due to the new time change.
The 9-1-1 phone lines will be forwarded to the Carson City Sheriff's Department who will relay information to Lyon County dispatch for the appropriate response.
If you need law enforcement assistance and cannot wait for the one-hour down time, call the following numbers:
