One man has been captured and others are at large after an early morning chase through Indian Hills resulted in an accident and a shooting.

Washoe Tribal Police spotted a possible drunken driver in the early morning hours on tribal lands and pursued a vehicle containing two men onto Vista Grande Boulevard.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Tribal Police tried to box the suspect vehicle in at Agate Court, only to be rammed. Officers fired on the vehicle.

The suspects then drove back up Vista Grande and turned on Princeton Avenue, where the men bailed out of the vehicle.

Princeton between Vista Grande and Vassar Street was closed off much of the morning. The Sheriff's Office reports no injuries among officers. One of the suspects may have received a minor injury.

More information, including the names of the suspects will be released later today.
