Sierra Inline Hockey's 10 and under team, The Pink Bandits, split two games against the Oreos from Bishop, Calif., on Saturday at the Pony Express Pavilion.
Bishop won the opener 4-3 in overtime while the Bandits came back from a 4-1 deficit to win the nightcap 6-5.
The scoring went back and forth in the opener. Marina Holcomb, Michael Patrick and Spencer Olson all scored for the Bandits with assists by Bryce Hartley and Carly Schmidlin. Bishop scored the game winner with four seconds left in overtime. Goalie Jacob Withrow faced 33 shots and made 29 saves.
In the skills competition Patrick came in second in the puck handling and skating. Withrow won the goalie competition.
In the nightcap, Patrick had two goals and an assist, Olson had two goals, K. Chambers had one goal and one assist, Holcomb had one goal and Evan Carlson had two assists.
Withrow faced 33 shots again making 28 saves. Withrow had a 4.5 goals against average and a save percentage of 86.4 percent.
