Teacher extends her

appreciation for award

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Wal-Mart for presenting me with the "Teacher of the Year" award.

The monetary awards for Bordewich-Bray Elementary School and my classroom are greatly appreciated. It is an honor to be chosen to represent such a wonderful community.

Additionally, I would like to thank my students for their letters of nomination. I am honored to be their second grade teacher. They make teaching exciting and rewarding.

Finally, I would like to thank my students' parents for allowing me the privilege of working with their children this year. Your support and encouragement helps the children excel in the classroom.

Sincerely,

Hard work and generosity makes for great food drive

I want to extend my sincerest gratitude to all the people who through their hard work and generosity helped to make this year's National Association of Letter Carriers' food drive an astounding success.

More than 50,000 pounds of food were collected in our community and will help F.I.S.H. and Advocates Against Domestic Violence continue to help those in need through the summer.

Thank you all so much.

Sincerely,

Shawn Wells, USPS
