A memorial service for David William Crawford, 72, a 52-year Carson City resident, will be 1 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church.
Mr. Crawford died May 8, 2007. He was born Nov. 25, 1934, in Long Beach, Calif., to Willis David and Florence Rebecca Crawford.
Before moving to Nevada, Mr. Crawford lived in California.
He married Ann Colley in August 1991 in Minden.
He worked in the oil distribution industry until his retirement in 1983.
He belonged to the Vintage Midget Associations for USAC and BCRA.
He enjoyed fishing, antique cars, NASCAR and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1984, and mother in 2003.
Among his survivors are his wife, of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law David William Jr. and Cathy Crawford of Danby, Colo.; daughters Kelly Diane Crawford of Valencia, Calif., and Colleen Mary Korpi and Kristina Beth Crawford, both of Sequim, Wash.; sister Sandy "Sam" Allec of Carson City; half-sisters Donna, Sally and Claudia; and five grandchildren.
Autumn Funerals and Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
