A memorial service for Mary Allen Haight, 74, an Oceanside, Calif., resident for the past year, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Eastside Memorial Park in Gardnerville.
Mrs. Haight died April 30, 2007, in Oceanside. She was born Sept. 26, 1933, in Pindall, Ark., to William Howard and Modene Cash Trublood.
Before moving to Oceanside, she lived in Gardnerville for 37 years.
She married Harrison P. Haight April 23, 1954, in Pleasanton, Calif. He died in October 2001.
Mrs. Haight was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gaming and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison P. Haight, her parents and a brother.
Among her survivors are son and daughter-in-law Robert and Rachel Haight of Smith Valley; daughters and sons-in-law Susie and Ken Towne of Carson City, Patricia and Mark Cole of Oceanside and Cathy and Rick Smith of Gardnerville; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
Accu-care Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.
