FISHreceives bounty from Letter Carriers' food drive

The FISH organization wishes to acknowledge with gratitude the bountiful harvest of food received by our food bank from the National Association of Letter Carriers' Food Drive on May 12.

The total amount produced by the drive was 50,500 pounds.

Just saying thanks hardly expresses our appreciation for the generosity of the Carson City community. The sacrifices and compassion of the givers is evident by the large amount of food received. We wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all involved in the food drive.

Let us not forget the postal employees who worked extra hard during their busy day to bring food from mail box stations to the postal loading dock where it was picked up by FISH volunteers and staff. We do deeply appreciate all their hard work and commitment to this annual food drive.

Sincerely,

James McMullen

FISH food bank manager
