A celebration of life for Kevin Barry Kayo, 51, a Carson City resident for the past three years, will be 8 a.m.-7 p.m. June 24 at Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe.
Mr. Kayo died May 21, 2007, in Reno. He was born Aug. 15, 1955, in Oakland, Calif., to Raymond Francis Kayo and Rosemary Ann Blase.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Las Vegas,
He married JoAnn on July 4, 1992, at Lake Tahoe.
He graduated from Casa Robles High School in Orangevale, Calif.
Mr. Kayo retired from Air Blown Concrete and Construction.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
He enjoyed drag racing, video games, camping, the outdoors and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are his wife, of Carson City; children John, Jeremy and Harley and Samantha, Crystal and Justin Benvenuti and Nytro; brothers George Blase; brother and sister-in-law Dick and Helen Lonick; sisters and brothers-in-law Roseann and Steve Pavlick and Lorraine and Mark Fairbanks; grandchildren Genika, Kyrah and Isaiah and 14 extended-family members.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
