(Appeal News Service) - Presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., will make a stop in Fernley on Friday afternoon, her campaign confirmed Wednesday.
According to a press release from Clinton's press office, the former first lady will host a discussion on renewable energy at 2 p.m. at East Valley Elementary School, 4180 Farm District Road. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m.
Clinton will join New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, also a Democrat, as the two presidential candidates who have visited Fernley in the last three months.
Clinton will attend an event in Reno later in the day.
