A hearing is set Oct. 17 for a 19-year-old Carson City woman who was arrested Aug. 7 after she allegedly sold cocaine in an undercover drug sting.

Tifany Fraker was charged with conspiracy to violate the Uniform Controlled Substances Act.

She originally was held on $50,000 bail, but was released on her own recognizance.

She told East Fork Judge Jim EnEarl she was the sole support of her 18-month-old daughter and asked that an ankle monitoring bracelet be removed.

"I'll be good," she said.

"That's what bothers me," EnEarl said. "You sound like a little girl. You are a little girl and you are here on this. I don't mean to be insulting, but you are 19, you are playing in an arena you have no business being in.

"I don't know what's going to come of this, but you better sit up and pay attention. You are way in over your head," EnEarl said.

She was arrested with another 19-year-old and a 17-year-old after the transaction was completed by the Douglas County Street Enforcement Team and the Tri-Net Narcotics Task Force.
