The Nevada Highway Patrol responded to fatal accident in the southbound lanes of Highway 395 at Pine Valley Road in the Double Springs area at 5:31 p.m. Double Springs is between Gardnerville and Topaz Lake.
Early reports from the accident indicate that it involves a semi truck and a female pedestrian who allegedly jumped in front of the semi.
Motorists should be prepared for delays in the area.
