North Lake Tahoe businesses are recruiting candidates interested in a variety of careers, as well as those employees interested in winter positions.

Full-time and seasonal job seekers can meet potential employers at a Job Fair 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the Sierra Mountain Community Education Center in Truckee.

The Sierra Mountain Community Education Center is at 10065 Donner Pass Road in Truckee (behind the fire station).

'Pray for Snow' party, job fair hosted by Kirkwood Resort

Kirkwood Mountain Resort is hosting its annual Job Fair 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, at the Lake Tahoe Golf Course in Meyers.

This year, the resort is throwing a "Pray for Snow" party to gear up for Kirkwood's 35th season.

Openings are available in the following departments:

Lift attendants, parking attendants, shuttle drivers, ticket checkers, rental attendants, ticket sellers/concierge, housekeepers, food and beverage cooks, lodging front desk attendants, ski patrollers, lodging reservationists, trail maintenance/groomers food and beverage cashiers, food and beverage servers/busers, food and beverage kitchen utility workers, guest service staff and facilities maintenance staff.
