On Dec. 10, the Nevada Division of Welfare and Supportive Services will begin providing Child Support Enforcement Program services previously operated by the Carson City District Attorney's Office.
Child support services for Carson City residents will transition the Welfare Division's Reno Program Area Office located at 300 E. Second S., Suite 1200.
Families receiving child support services in Carson City will experience no disruption in services during or after this transition period, according to a news release. Currently, there are approximately 2,100 child support cases being served by the Carson City District Attorney Office.
Carson City residents seeking child support enforcement services can obtain program applications from http://welfare.state.nv.us/child.htm, the Carson City District Attorney Office located at 885 E. Musser St., Suite 2030A, or by calling the Reno office at (775) 448-5150. Completed applications may be dropped off at the Carson City welfare office at 1470 College Parkway or can be mailed to:
