A father and daughter team arrived at the Nevada Appeal offices on Mallory Way just before 2 p.m. to report they found the medallion under a stump at Galena Creek Park seven miles up the Mt. Rose Highway.
Clues to the medallion's location began on Oct. 8 and a new one was run every day. Tomorrow was the last clue, so the duo came in just under the wire.
