Gerald Robert "Ronnie" Welsh, 69, died Sept. 1, 2007, at his home in Tecoman, Colima, Mexico.
He was born July 6, 1938, to Gerald Rollin and Eleanor Welsh in Hollywood, Calif.
He attended schools in southern California. He worked as a meat cutter most of his life in grocery stores in California.
He also did house painting. He enjoyed owning and caring for wild and exotic animals and the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1979.
Among his survivors are his mother, Eleanor Welsh; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Gary Werner; sisters Marilyn "Mare" Welsh, all of Carson City, and Judi Webb of Burbank, Calif.; daughters, Lori Harding and Marci Amico, numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial was at his home in Mexico.
