A funeral mass for Kathryn M. Nunes, 91, an 18-year resident of Minden, will be 2 p.m. Friday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville.
Mrs. Nunes died Sept. 3, 2007, in Carson City. She was born Sept. 15, 1915, to Joaquin Costa and Katie Trapp, in Mill Valley, Calif. Before moving to Minden she lived at Lake Tahoe for 20 years. She went to high school in Visalia and moved to Modesto in 1941. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Gall Catholic Church and the Women's Society of St. Gall Catholic Church.
She enjoyed sewing and knitting.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Among her survivors are daughter Joann Nunes of Minden and one grandchild.
Entombment will be at Eastside Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Gall Catholic Church Memorial Fund.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
